Comfort is Key: An Easy & Cute Shift Dress

On Sunday, my girlfriends and I headed just south of Chicago and crossed off a huge item on the bucket-list: seeing the Dixie Chicks in concert! Oh my gosh, you guys- those ladies are amazing, and the late night and long drive was totally worth it! They played lots of classics, did a few tributes and covers and made our dreams come true. It even rained for about 5 minutes during Cowboy Take Me Away, which was basically like a scene out of a music video – dancing, arms in the air and the rain pouring down. It was a night I will never forget, with my amazing besties!

I took a chance wearing this cute shift dress, not really knowing what the venue was like and with the unpredictable Midwest Spring weather. It’s flattering, flowy, a little bit boho, and I can’t wait to wear it again. I paired it with a jean jacket and comfy sandals (seen in this previous post) – perfect for dancing and walking.

I love this back detail – super cute and kept me cool too!
