Hi friends, happy Thursday! I hope you’re all surviving your week back after the long weekend. I have to say I love Monday holidays – it makes the week just fly by. Right now I don’t work office hours on Fridays so I always look forward to my slow morning with coffee and baby snuggles! We have a busy weekend ahead including a few parties: a housewarming for our besties (I’m in charge of Ramen salad – recipe will be featured next week, watch out for that, it’s addicting and scrumptious) and a baby shower for a dear friend. Party, party party… All the feels! ❤
It’s been positively sweltering this past week here in Wisco, and this outfit was a great work-friendly option. It’s no secret I love a classic stripe, and this feminine top from Target is airy and lightweight. I’m also loving the neutral and neon combo trend, and have been experimenting more with mixing prints. Lastly, these jean shorts are typically pretty spendy, but I was able to score a pair at Marshall’s for a quarter of the price! They’re stretchy and almost a little too big, but they’re super comfy for this in-between time when my body isn’t quite fitting into my pre-baby shorts. Honestly most of my more expensive wardrobe pieces are Marshall’s finds, we have one of the best I’ve ever seen – so many designer labels for so much less, love it!
