Today I’m featuring this gorgeous midi-dress that I wore to a wedding over the weekend. I found this dress at Kohl’s, and it’s by one of my all-time faves – Lauren Conrad. Is it just me, or does she always make clothes that fit in all the right spots? I have a ton of her tops, tanks and even jeans (which I love). She has such a sweet, feminine style that is perfect for feeling girly and dressing up. I’m loving the mid-length, pleated skirt which is flirty, and lightweight. The little lace detail around the neckline is also super pretty, and showed just enough skin. I didn’t feel like I needed to wear a necklace with this dress because the detailing took center stage. The dress came with a belt, but I went without it because it was a bit tight on my rib cage (=no bueno for wedding eating and dancing). This pretty number is on sale right now – and comes in a variety of colors and patterns – I might have to buy the black version!
This pair of shoes are and oldie but goodie. I have had these fuschia Guess pumps for probably 5 years now and have worn them to so many weddings and events. They’re just the right heel height, and the pop of color is so FUN. I ended up swapping them out for sandals later in the night though – I just can’t wear heels like I use to! Since mine are bit older, they no longer sell them that I can find, but here are a few choices that are close: similar, similar)
Last up – my favorite wedding clutch of all time. Gold is one of my go-to neutrals and this bag is the perfect size for all of my wedding essentials: phone, gum, tissues, lip gloss and a little cash. Mine is an older version with no strap, but this one has the same look and feel and is on SALE right now!
