The Perfect Gray Jacket…

So, Wednesday was my last day at work and I am lucky enough to have some time off before I start my new adventure. I’m really looking forward to some down time to clear my head and refocus on what’s to come. (I even bought a book to read… for fun…what?!) I know it will be challenging and new but I’m up for it – change is good! Speaking of change… fall is literally right around the corner and I honestly couldn’t be more happy. Last fall I was halfway through my pregnancy, so many of my favorite fall clothes hung sadly in the closet without a glance. But now I’m back to pre-baby weight and it’s like I have a whole new wardrobe again! Not everything fits great just yet, as things definitely shifted during pregnancy but I’m still working hard to keep toning and the new goal is to lose about 5-10 more lbs and feel comfortable in my skin.

Today I want to feature this super cute outfit that I would somewhat consider transitional. I wore it over the weekend while we visited sweet baby Ellis and his mom + dad in the hospital. The weather was cool enough for a jacket, but I was still comfortable in jean shorts. This jacket is SO soft and lightweight plus gray goes with everything in my wardrobe. I love the drawstring cinch around the waist to give it a little more shape.

Outfit details: Jacket by Max-Jeans (the gray is sold out, but this chambray one is amazing), Kensie Jean shorts, my top is Cynthia Rowley – but you can find a navy/white striped shirt literally anywhere these days! TOMS Shoes – I own 4 pairs of TOMS and plan to add more to my collection. They are so comfy and perfect transitional wear!

Dane just loves to be outdoors. I love watching the wonder in his eyes when he sees and explores new things for the first time!
