It’s been a pretty quick week already at our house. Tuesday I had the misfortune of getting my first root canal. Besides the paralyzing fear, pain and losing sleep from anxiety – it went pretty well… ha! Either way, it’s behind me, thank God.
Wednesday night we had D’s one year check up – he shocked us all with a double ear infection diagnosis… what? Anyone else’s kiddos show no signs of sickness like Dane? We would have never thought something was wrong – so we’re thankful for the timing of his appointment, and he’s got some medicine to hopefully clear those little ears right up. Other than that, and a few shots 😦 he’s doing great developmentally. He’s weighing in at 22 lbs (55% in weight), 31 inches (75% in height) and his head is pretty average size. He also passed his vision tests, which is exciting. We’re going to start introducing cow’s milk into his diet soon – just waiting until the ear infection clears… one thing at a time. I’m excited to end our journey with formula and save a few extra dollars too.
On a much more joyful note, I’m so excited to share all the pictures from Dane’s dinosaur themed first birthday party! It was a wonderful day filled with lot of laughs and most importantly, family. We even got a FaceTime call from Uncle Hank, which made our day. I hope you enjoy these as much as we did!
