So I’ve been on a mission the past few months to really shout out brands and companies that I love and care about, so today I have a special treat for you! I am ALL about supporting other small business owners doing their thing and am often in awe of their passion and drive. This especially goes for women who are killing it and sharing their incredible sense of style and artistry with the world.
Last night my mom, sister and I planned a little girl’s night and checked out the pop up event with The American Alchemy at K’s Boutique downtown Waupun.
First, a little bit about K’s Boutique: Katrina, one of the owners, along with her auntKathy, has been a dear friend of mine for many years – we’re talking back before high school. She is one of the most kindhearted, beautiful souls I’ve ever come across in life. She is a sweet, stylish and creative mama bear to two beautiful babies and is a loving wife.
K’s Boutique is a cozy space, filled with gorgeous vintage inspired décor perfect for a dreamy wedding, baby shower or birthday party. Katrina’s own wedding had this exact feel, which was a large part of the inspiration behind K’s. With the growing popularity of romantic barn weddings, and Katrina’s creative perspective, you’ve got the perfect combo. As you walk through the shop, you’ll also notice beautiful photography that Katrina’s done over the years – of weddings, couples, families and more. On top of all of that, K’s Boutique rents tuxedos!
For this special pop up event, Katrina’s shop was decked out with amazing stuff from The American Alchemy – a super cool shop out of Ripon, WI. There were racks of beautiful clothes, handmade bags and some really incredible jewelry. I could have spent hours and hours trying on and swooning over every piece. The American Alchemy girls are uber talented, stylish and sweet. It was great to meet them and support such a kickass women owned business.
I could have purchased a lot more but allowed myself two things – a really super sweet bag perfect for a clutch or my Rodan + Fields skincare, and these amazing leather studs.
Thanks ladies for a really great girl’s night and for being fearless entrepreneurs. If you’re ever in the Waupun or Ripon areas – these are MUST stops.
