Kimono Craze

I’ve been slightly obsessed with kimonos for a while now… there is just something about a loose, flowy top that you can throw on over leggings, jeans, shorts or casual dresses. Dress them up or down and the common denominator is always comfort. I scored this tribal tye-dye one at you guessed it, Target! It was part of a reward to myself for hitting my weight loss goal of 5 lbs. I’ve set smaller goals for myself since Dane was born – and the last 10 pounds are coming off slowly but surely. Rewards include cute new clothes, workout apparel, and a trip to Sephora – which is on the horizon! I’m only about 5 lbs from my pre-baby weight, but would ideally like to be down 10 more to get back to my healthy average. I think I can, I think I can!

Anyway, check out this great piece, and did you notice the pom pom tassels? I love it! I wore this to a friend’s birthday BBQ over the weekend, and it was perfect to throw over a tank and shorts! Dane puked on it a few times and nobody could even tell – thanks tribal pattern! 😉  I also scored these faux snake gladiator sandals on the clearance rack for $13.00. What?!
